Description

This course introduces students to algorithms and algorithmic thinking through the lens of social and public policy. Students explore the impact of algorithms and software on privacy, censorship and other sometimes contentious matters in the modern world. Students will learn programming as a tool for exploring these concepts. Not open to students who have taken CSC208 (exceptions may be made with departmental permission). Meets during the reserve format.
